While you can see my full name above, I go by Edd, though most of my colleagues and students simply refer to me as Chango.  I am currently a Spanish Instructor at Delaware Technical Community College in Wilmington, Delaware.  Although I began in 2008 as an adjunct, I have been in the position of full time Spanish instructor since August of 2011.  During the previous 23 years of my career, I was an educator in the Delaware public school system.  The majority of my time has been spent teaching in high school classrooms; however, I also have extensive experience teaching Spanish Language courses to elementary and middle school students, as well as to adult continuing education learners, university students, and college students from other countries learning English as a Second Language.​​  Click here to see my CV.

 

Although I plan to retire in June of 2016, from the State of Delaware, I can't imagine life without my students.  My last 8 years teaching at Delaware Tech have been incredibly fulfilling.  I love the particular challenges as well as the rewards that come with teaching community college students, and I am hoping to secure a position doing just that in the San Diego, California area in the fall of 2016.
