Course Assignments & Activities 2013-52 (Spring)

Assisted at Mardi Gras with the Cafe du Monde room setting up, "tattooing" and tearing down.

Redesigned SPA138 with the new textbook using the template of SPA136 and the new textbook.

Assisted at graduation as an informational guide before the procession.

Continued New Faculty Development program by completing ePortfolio.

Redesigned SPA137 with the new textbook using the template of SPA136 and the new textbook.
Course Assignments & Activities 2012-53 (Summer)

Continued with New Faculty Development courses, IDT-G21, Instructional Design.

Began courses at University of Delaware towards the Ed.D program in Educational Leadership with 6 credits: Development of iPad Apps for Education and Technology Foundations in Education.

Completed on the redesign of SPA136 in light of IDT-G21 and piloted the new course with the new Textbook.
Course Assignments & Activities 2012-52 (Spring)

Assisted at Mardi Gras with the Cafe du Monde room setting up, attending the room during the event and tearing down.

Continued taking New Faculty development courses with IDT-G31, Teaching with Technology.

Wrote grant and was awarded an iPad for iPads for Educators initiative.

Assisted at graduation, lining up students before the procession.
Course Assignments 2012-51 (Fall)

Assisted student, Waleed Floyd, in creating the GLBTQ student group (now called COLORS) and writing its constitution. Advised the group until mid-spring semester when the group got on its feet and Twain Gonzales took the reigns.

Wrote "Strategies and Tips for Success" introduction to add to all SPA courses in response to initiative from Dean of Instruction.

Began taking NFD courses with NFD-101.
